Revoking Tasks From Users

This topic describes the procedure to remove the assignment of unwanted tasks from users.

Before you begin this task: You must have the role of systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to revoke tasks from users.


After assigning tasks to users, if you intend to remove the unwanted tasks from users, follow the below procedure.

  1. Go to CUSP > My Applications, click (User Manager) and select Users - Tasks view in the User Manager window.
  2. Select a user in the Users pane. Corresponding tasks are highlighted in the Tasks pane.
  3. Select the required task(s), right click them and click Remove from Selected User(s) . Unwanted tasks are removed from the user.

    Note:
  • Role based Tasks are tasks that are configured to the roles of a user. These tasks are represented as . You cannot revoke such tasks from users.
  • User based Tasks are tasks that are configured to the user directly. These tasks are represented as . You can revoke such tasks from users.

Tip: You can select multiple tasks or users by holding down the CTRL key.
